Gabrielle
" My hair to me equals… acceptance of self, but also self-care. As is the case with the majority of the Black diaspora, I didn’t like my hair growing up. But as I learned her versatility and how she works best, I have come to enjoy taking care of her.
She forces me to stop, take a moment for myself and really make it all about me. In a way, my hair forces me to dedicate time to myself I would otherwise spend doing something else. For this, I am grateful for my mane!"
